Shaken Stories
Our bartenders tell all one drink at a time
There are those that prepare drinks, and those with every gesture that tell a story.
In this section you will meet our bartenders not only for what they do, but for who they are: passion, technique, sensitivity.
“Shaken Stories” is an intimate space where words mix with flavors and all experiences come to life, one sip at a time.

I am a bartender – but to tell the truth, it’s not just a job. It’s a vocation, a kind of art, sometimes even therapy, for those on this side of the bar and for those who sit in front of it.
Everything started out of curiosity. I was 18, I didn’t have much experience but I was willing to learn with my eyes full of wonder. I watched older bartenders and I was amazed by the precision with how they moved their hands, the grace how they poured, stirred, garnished. It was like watching choreography: pure technique, rhythm and attention to detail. I understood straight away that there was so much more to those movements. Passion, dedication and a touch of magic.
Now I live and work in Positano, a corner of paradise, nestling between sea and sky. Every evening my bar transforms into a crossroads of lives who meet by chance – or maybe not – and I try with my tools to capture the atmosphere and put it into a glass. A cocktail is not just a mix of ingredients: it’s a vibration, an intuition. It is a liquid story of a moment.
I love mixing of course: experimenting with flavors, playing with aromas, finding the perfect balance between sweetness, acidity and character. The real magic, however, starts when you look up and see someone trying your drink and smiling. The bar is a theater of emotions, a place where interaction counts just as much as creation.
Every guest has a story, a mood, an often-unspoken desire. My job is also being able to sense that, to read between the lines and find the drink that speaks for them. When this happens – when you deduce the right cocktail at the right time – that is when I understand why I love what I do.
Ultimately, this is what being a bartender means to me: creating connections. With your hands, heart and listening. Every time someone sits at the bar, I don’t just see a customer: I see a new opportunity to share something nice, with a simple smile.

Everything started when I was a child, in a film-like way. I remember the first time I saw the movie Cocktail with Tom Cruise. There were lights, rhythm, perfect movements and a certain poetry in that way of being behind the bar. It was not just preparing drinks. There was something more: there was style, performance, transforming a technical gesture into a show. From that moment on I understood that would have been my dream.
When a dream takes hold of you as a child, it never leaves you.
I followed that spark: I enrolled in a hotel management school, specializing on the bar-restaurant area. There I learnt the basics, discipline, and technique. Above all I understood that this job requires empathy, the ability to listen and performance. Behind every cocktail there is a person, a moment, an intention. It is my job to give that moment shape, emotion and flavor.
Working in Positano is a privilege. Every day brings new faces, different accents, and stories from all corners of the world. I am there with my tools and experience, ready to create an experience, not only filled with flavor, but with atmosphere, hospitality and authenticity.
I like to think of the bar as a bridge between me and people. A place where technique meets creativity, and where every gesture can give rise to a memory. My work is not only to create drink – it is to shape moments and make them unforgettable.
Every time I see a customer close their eyes at the first sip and smile; I understand that that child who was dreaming in front of the movie made the right choice.
